1. Smaller/Larger References #
Shortcut: Use Ctrl
+ Scroll Wheel
to quickly scale references larger or smaller. This is particularly useful when you need to adjust the size of reference frames to match the context of your simulation environment.
2. Show/Hide Objects #
Shortcut: Press O to show or hide selected objects. This allows you to declutter your workspace, especially when working with complex simulations containing multiple components.
3. Show/Hide Text #
Shortcut: Use T
to show or hide text labels attached to objects or reference points. Text labels can sometimes overwhelm your view, so this shortcut helps to keep your screen organized.
4. Show/Hide Coordinate Axis Letters #
Shortcut: Press L to toggle the show/hide function for coordinate axis labels. This shortcut allows you to simplify the view by hiding the X, Y, Z labels on the axis when not needed.
5. Access Element Options (F3) #
Shortcut: Press F3
to open the properties or options of the selected element (robots, objects, tools, etc.). This shortcut gives you quick access to change parameters like position, orientation, and other settings without navigating menus.
6. Rename #
Shortcut: Use F2 to rename any item in the station tree. Keeping objects, robots, and tools organized with meaningful names improves clarity, especially in complex simulations.
7. Tree Operations #
Tip: Right-click on elements in the station tree for operations like duplicating, moving, or deleting objects. Efficient management of the station tree will help keep your project organized and easy to navigate.
